So this past weekend was AMAZING – great weather, great friends, great fun. Apparently, though, fresh air and sunshine does not agree with me. It’s not allergies, I bet it’s the friggin’ cold that’s been working it’s way through various staff at the clinic. I am now sick and miserable. My eyes are burning, my sinuses are throbbing, I want to die. I want to take a lot of cold medication and just sleep. Unfortunately, I’m on call, so I can’t take any medications, and I can’t sleep.
Needless to say, I’m not feeling up to writing much. So silly little random bit for you!
Here is a snapshot of the kind of shenanigans I got up to my first summer in St John’s that defy actual stories. It’s all in the pictures.
Lovely sunny day, so one of my friends decides to ride a child’s toy bike down a grassy hill past a sprinkler. With the necessary safety gear, obviously.
The next day, I rocked this high class look at the bar. You can bet I had to beat the boys off with a stick.
Clearly, I have found the place where I belong.
Trust me, I'm a doctor. 
That’s seems like an everyday outfit, nothing odd there.
Maybe a bit low key for work, but definitely every day, sure.
I hope you feel better…all around. I hope your cold clears up and your heart isn’t too worse for wear. You’re in my thoughts!!
